The coolest kids in Hollywood

Well, I am back from my internship at Best Life in wonderful Magazineland, aka. New York City. It's a rough transition, but I am now deeply involved in another project that I love - The Temple News.

On Sunday, August 11, I interviewed the incredible Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti for their new film Shoot 'Em Up. It was a thrill to meet , sit next to , and talk to them. Without a doubt, they are two of my most favorite actors and it was a lucky gig to land. I. Am. Grateful.

It was a great interview and I am happy to report that Clive and Paul are good guys - not jerks like Keanu Reeves and Russell Crow (from what I've heard). They were both funny and looked happy to be there.

Today, our second issue of The Temple News was published, and I'm linking to the stories here, and also posting pictures of the pages. I'm posting the pages because Brian Kirk designed an amazing skybox (The Temple News banner with the pictures of Clive and Paul) as well as a great front page, and Brianna Barry did a wonderful design of the actual articles in the Out and About section. Not only am I happy with these stories because of the way they turned out, but because they are a terrific marriage of content and design. The skybox makes you want to read the story - and it just looks badass. The inside page showcases the interview piece and the review as a package very well. This is just great collaboration.

And you can also read an editorial I wrote about the destruction of family institutions by young adults HERE.
